The ASEANpreneurs Youth Leaders Network (AYLN) is a student organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship in the ASEAN region. It serves as a platform for budding student entrepreneurs from ASEAN countries to network, share ideas and knowledge, and to collaborate and learn from each other. Some of the network’s activities include organizing the flagship Leaders Exchange and the upcoming Conference, dissemination of entrepreneurship information, news and initiatives in the form of quarterly newsletters. Membership is open to university undergrads of ASEAN nationality.
ASEANpreneurs Day 2009 incorporates the finale of the ASEANpreneurs Alpha Challenge (AAC) – a competition which saw youth participants from ASEAN countries sharing inspirational stories of successful regional entrepreneurs and companies via digital media. The AAC is organised by the ASEANpreneurs Youth Leaders Network (AYLN), a one-year old initiative by the NUS Entrepreneurship Society (NES).
Winning entries in this inaugural Challenge will be awarded cash prizes of up to SGD2000 during the event. Come down to witness the showcase of these entries and gain some insights into how the youth participants have been inspired by regional entrepreneurs. Efforts of the Network in the past year since its inception and other local youth groups will also be showcased.
There will also be an exciting forum featuring a panel of entrepreneurs running successful business operations in the region. Join us in an interactive evening as they share their experiences and shed light on the unique opportunities as well as the role of young entrepreneurs in the context of ASEAN. |
