When President Barack Obama became the No.1 Citizen on the planet this year,
he gave birth to a renewed sense of hope, confidence, self-worth and empowerment
to many across the globe. He spoke from the heart, touching many hearts in return.
In a blink, Obama became the leader of the world, not just the US, because he had
shared ideals which resonated with millions across the globe, especially the youth.
His core beliefs were about dialogue, engagement and listening. Many believe
he will bridge the troubled waters that have haunted our societies for decades.

200 million multi-cultural, multi-religious, multi-coloured Youth across Southeast Asia.
Theirs is a story about tolerance, the environment, education, truth and destiny.
Nobody or no country is perfect. We have our limits, we are all mixed up,
our pain is real, we have our fractured history but we can create a new legacy.
No one knows and articulates this experience better than Obama.
The youth are not ashamed of the past and they can change the future.
They may appear small but they have big sensitive hearts.
It is in this spirit the Youth of Southeast Asia are standing up for Change.
This movement is not about President Obama; it's about the Youth of Southeast Asia.
And it is a honest discourse on the inspiration that is Obama. Everybody needs a
hero. Theirs is President Barack Obama. And they are expressing their aspirations,
hopes, fears, tears, ideas and lives with him and to the other illustrious agents of change
