Youth Entrepreneurs Malaysia is in the business of creating an entrepreneurial community among youths in Malaysia. The community is driven by the collective efforts of youth entrepreneurs within Malaysia, who want to promote entrepreneurship among youths at the grassroots. Believing that youths can be more confident, empowered and facilitated to begin their entrepreneurial journeys when a community is built among all key players (Funding options, education coaches, associations, corporations, institutions, NGOs etc.), Youth Entrepreneurs Malaysia aims to educate, develop and deploy youths into viable business projects for nation-building. The organisation also believes in cultivating enterprising skills among youths, towards making them more marketable to employers in the market. The community is currently powered by its website – www.entrepreneurs.my, and acts as the sister-community to Malaysia Entrepreneurs (Entrepreneurs.my) while maintaining their influence on the Youth Entrepreneurs Malaysia Facebook group.
Youth Entrepreneurs Malaysia is committed to developing youths and connecting them with the entrepreneurial communities in Malaysia. This is shown through their Entrepreneurs Outreach Project 2009 (E-O09), where the team will venture to educational institutions, bringing exciting entrepreneurial activities and lectures to be shared with the youths. Ultimately, the organisation aims to support and organise more than 100 entrepreneurial activities in 2009, and is already half-way there. |
